Offline Festival

with No Comments

Project Dirt is a social enterprise working to resource grassroots community projects around the UK. In collaboration with Power to Change and The Eden Project Communities, they are hosting Offline Festival – unearth the power of your community – 15-17th September 2017.

This is the first-ever community focused festival that will bring together community projects, social enterprises, charities and purpose driven businesses. This unique ‘unconference in the countryside’ is designed to equip participants with the ideas and tools needed to create a positive impact in their local community. There will be practical workshops on topics like alternative sources of funding, pitching your idea and marketing your community project. They will also talk about balancing wellbeing, re-energising your team and avoiding burnout. Find out more about the festival here.

Get involved at the CAG workshop

The CAG Project will be hosting a workshop at the festival on how to set up and develop a community group, presenting a couple of examples from the network. We’d also really like a couple of volunteers from different groups to come along and provide a practical, hands on, and fun activity based on what you do to inspire and engage the attendees. If you’d like to be involved in some way, please contact Beth.

We want you there!

If you’d like to come along as a punter instead of running a workshop then that’s great too! Project Dirt have kindly offered members of the CAG Network a 30% discount on Limited Tier 1 tickets. It’s really easy, just enter OURFRIENDS30 code into the Eventbrite ticket page and you’re good to go!
