The annual CAG Network Social is an opportunity for members of the CAG Project to get together, pause and reflect on the year just gone, celebrate the successes and chat over what’s to come.
This year however was tinged with some sadness as the Project said goodbye to Simon Kenton, Community Engagement Manager, who had been with the CAG Project for ten years. We wished him a fond farewell, read out the lovely messages that people had sent, and made sure he had a tear in his eye.
We asked our members to write on our ‘Celebration Board’ of the things they were most proud of from the past year. They included:
“Keeping The Mix community space open and growing to host over 150 events last year!” – Sustainable Wantage
“We have reached 200 in the number of houses we have thermal imaged” – Sustainable Blewbury
You can see more in the gallery below.
Thanks to everyone who came along and made the evening such a success. In particular thanks to our stallholders who shared some valuable information and resources with the Network.
See you next year!
