Our member groups span the county and work on a wide variety of issues. They welcome new volunteers and offer an easily accessible way of getting involved in climate action whether your interest lies in biodiversity, waste reduction, food surplus, community cohesion or active transport. Cherwell Collective helps our community cut carbon footprints through education and outreach. We reduce waste and help disadvantaged individuals.

CHILTERN HILLS COMMUNITY ENERGY

Energy

Chiltern Hills Community Energy (CHCE) has been established to help address climate change by investing initially in the installation of solar PV panels on buildings in South Oxfordshire – principally within RG9.

CHOLSEY'S TOMORROW

Cholsey’s Tomorrow was initiated by a group of Cholsey residents to raise awareness about climate change and greenhouse gas emissions.

CLIMATE COLLECTIVE OXFORD

Education

Climate Collective Oxford is aiming to establish a climate emergency centre in central Oxford where the general public will be welcomed to learn more about the climate and nature emergency and what they can do to help mitigate its effects and to adapt to its impacts.

Cultivate are a food co-op all about bringing people together to create a better food system for Oxford.

CUTTESLOWE GREENHOUSE

Community orchard, Community gardening, Food growing

Cutteslowe Greenhouse is a new community project which seeks to create an opportunity for people
to connect with nature and each other. We are working to secure a lease on the greenhouses located
in the centre of Cutteslowe Park, as a base for our future activities.

CYCLOX

Travel / transport, Education

We campaign to put cycling at the heart of Oxford’s future. Our aim is to get more people cycling, more often, and more safely.

DEDDINGTON ENVIRONMENT NETWORK CIC

We are a group of local, concerned residents and businesses, inspiring and implementing action on climate change.

DIDCOT ALLOTMENT SOCIETY

Didcot Allotment Society (DAS) was set up in 2016 in the wake of a Didcot Town Council initiative to sell off in-town allotment sites.

DOWN TO EARTH COMMUNITY CAFE

Food surplus, Community hub

Down to Earth uses surplus food from the Oxford Food Hub and Wantage Community Fridge to arrange community cooking events.
