DOWN TO EARTH COMMUNITY CAFE

Down to Earth is a warm and vibrant place to meet, eat and cook together. The community cooking and training events are creative spaces with social inclusion and environmental sustainability at the heart of what we do and how we do it.
Down to Earth is a pop-up cafe with two main activities. Let's Cook Sustainably cooking classes and
Down to Earth Community Cafe. The cooking classes culminate in a group organising the Down to Earth Community Cafe. Both cooking classes and community cafe use surplus food and teach awareness around the sustainable food sector. We use the Good Food Oxford Good Food Cooking Toolkit to provide flexi-recipes. They are open to all and designed to bring about greater environmental awareness and to build a more inclusive community. The Community Cafe operates on a 'pay as you feel' basis.
