Repair Cafes will be happening across the length and breadth of the county over the next 8 months, to match people with broken electricals and electronics with skilled people who like fixing things. The focus of the events is on skill-sharing and building community as, rather than throwing them in the bin, attendees will be invited to learn how to fix their item alongside the volunteer repairers.
These activities are part of the innovative programme being run by The CAG Network and Oxfordshire County Council across Oxfordshire to tackle the growing issue of electronic waste and change the way we view normal household items like toasters and radios.
