Got something which needs some TLC or is broken and you haven’t had the time or skills to fix it yourself? Don’t throw it away and waste all of the resources that went into making it, bring it to our repair café, and our volunteers will have go at fixing it.
SHARE Oxford organises free Repair Cafés on every first Sunday of every other month between 14:00 – 16:30 at Makespace Oxford.
Simply turn up and we’ll try to fix your item, if time allows, on a first-come-first-served basis.
You can express your interest in coming along, which will help our repairers to prepare their tools to better tackle your fix:
There will be tea, coffee and cakes available (we always endeavour to provide GF and vegan options).
Please be patient as you may have to wait a while for your repair to take place. Enjoy the atmosphere, have a chat, enjoy some refreshments, watch the other repairs, or bring a book. Even if your item can’t be fixed or you come along without anything to fix, you will still have a great time, meet new people and learn new skills.
Want to speed up, understand or upgrade your computer?

The Waste Collaborate meeting is an opportunity for Community Action Groups (CAGs) working on the theme of waste to meet up, share and find ways of working together.
The meeting is open to members of the CAG network, as well as other associated, like-minded groups and organisations. We also moderate theme mailing lists for CAGs to communicate with each other between meetings.
As a large network spread across the county, the meetings are an important chance for CAGs to:
- Discover more about other groups’ activities and achievements
- Share knowledge and skills
- Explore opportunities for collaborative projects and funding bids
- Gain advice and support from The CAG Project staff and other members
- Network and socialise with other members
Meetings are held biannually across a range of themes – please see our page on Collaborate Groups for more details on next meetings of all the groups.
If you are a member of a group wishing to take part in this meeting then please get in touch with The CAG Project staff team: email@example.com
If you’re attending, please let us know in advance if you have any accessibility requirements, or if you aren’t sure how best to travel to the venue. Email us firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll do our very best to help.
