Tandem Festival is nearly here! Come along to our final open meeting to help us make this our most magical festival yet. Everyone is welcome, whether you want to bring ideas, make friends or just find out about the mysterious inner workings of a music festival!
Volunteers help shape all aspects of the festival. You could help with decoration, site build, transport, food, stewarding, activities, talks & workshops, music, marketing, bar and loads more!
Tandem is a three day festival bringing you different worlds of music, art, dance, workshops, food and eco-friendliness. Our volunteer-powered festival celebrates culture and inspires change: what’s good for your ears, eyes and dancing shoes can be good for the planet too!
We now have weekly gardening, building and growing days to begin creating a vegetable garden which will be open to community groups and individuals who are keen to be outdoors, live closer to nature, learn and share skills and make new friends. Tea and homemade soup will be provided!
Join us as we work together to turn a patch of field into an ABUNDANT GARDEN for many to enjoy! We’re in early days of the project and we welcome input, interest and ideas because there are tons of exciting things that could happen here . . .
We welcome people from all backgrounds and all ages. Whatever your experience, there’ll be something for you to enjoy!
Collaborate events are opportunities for Community Action Groups (CAGs) working on similar projects or across a common theme to meet up, share and find ways of working together.
The meetings are open to members of the CAG network, as well as other associated, like-minded groups and organisations. We also moderate theme mailing lists for CAGs to communicate with each other between meetings.
As a large network spread across the county, the meetings are an important chance for CAGs to:
- Discover more about other groups’ activities and achievements
- Share knowledge and skills
- Explore opportunities for collaborative projects and funding bids
- Gain advice and support from The CAG Project staff and other members
- Network and socialise with other members
