This course gives the attendee practical skills to get gardening and growing at home – from raised beds to ponds to crop planning and composting. Also covered are herbs, food preserving, pest and disease management and building a rocket stove!
We will cover theory as well as practical tasks.
This course is certificated at Level 1 which is equivalent to low GCSE grade. Attendance on the Basic Edible Horticulture course or evidence of relevant prior learning will be required to attend this course.
This course runs on 4 consecutive Saturdays .This course is certificated.
